Faithless Forum is the first conference organized entirely by atheist, skeptic, and humanist YouTubers.
Why organize?
Atheists around the world face discrimination, denigration, bullying, shunning, and violence. Religious institutions often hold massive political power and promote harmful dogma and dangerous pseudoscience. We feel it’s our duty to speak out and push back by standing up for the rights of the non-religious and by promoting science, secularism, and humanism.
Why YouTubers?
Atheist, skeptic, and humanist YouTubers have an absolutely massive reach and a larger impact than any other community when it comes to changing minds, de-radicalizing fundamentalists, deprogramming cult members, and replacing dogma with reason. We do all this while spreading scientific skepticism and critical thinking. Furthermore, atheist YouTubers already know how to effectively educate, inspire, and entertain. It is our livelihood, after all.
What to expect at the Faithless Forum:
While lecture-heavy conferences have their place, the Faithless Forum is more like an annual gathering of like-minded friends (even if it’s your first time there). It’s filled with activities, interactive panels, workshops, and games. We aim to inspire potential and existing content creators (YouTubers, bloggers, podcasters, authors, comic artists, etc.), and activists of all stripes, and to help each other to grow and become more effective in the secular movement through teamwork and collaboration. We believe that a rising tide floats all boats. It’s our goal to encourage existing content creators as well as to empower the next generation to stand up and speak out using whatever tools and skills you have, because every person can make a difference. We believe you too can make an impact, and we would love to see you at the next Faithless Forum!
Faithless Forum Organizers:
Our Mission
The Faithless Forum seeks to equip attendees with the tools and motivation it takes to build a secular community with the power to change our world. This is a one-of-a-kind, grassroots event aiming to create an impactful community. We're convinced that through education and practice, we can lead productive discourse in the atheist community and beyond, learning from disagreements, and embracing our shared goals. We hope that by attending Faithless Forum, you'll be inspired to lead the charge toward harmony and rationality along with us.
